Table Day

Our table: Souche Collection Maison Corbeil
Its table day!! We have been waiting for this piece to get here for about 2 months and it's finally being delivered today!!! Beautiful center pieces ideas have been on my mind desktop for so long now I cant decide on which inspiration/idea to go for. Fresh cut flowers are always a winner but I'm also loving graphic bushes of greens, oversized hurricanes lanterns with simple candles, vintage bowls filled with artichokes or even bringing the outside in with some simple branches laid on top of a rich linen runner.

Peppermint Treats

Nothing like the flavor of peppermint to put me in a great Holiday spirit. From the traditional candy cane, to peppermint latte, cupcakes or chocolate bark this is always the flavor I'm looking the most forward to, come around December. This year I decided to prepare batches of easy and oh-so-cute sweet treats to have on hand for some lovely impromptu guests,  last minute hostess gifts and of course for me and my fiancĂ© to enjoy any time of day!

Crock Pot Delishness

One thing that's part of our fall ritual e-v-e-r-y year, it's definitely bringing out the Crock Pot and making at least a once a week, easy, comforting and oh so yummy bowl of a tasty something. I never fallow a specific recipe; its the beauty of Crock Pot. You just mix everything you want and voilĂ : a tasty meal in almost no prep time. From meaty dish, to veggie options, stews, soups or chilli's there's almost nothing more comforting than getting home to the smell of fresh batch of delishness.

Sweet patato, yellow patato, shallots, diced tomatoes and garlic
Milk-feed veal cubes tossed in seasoned flour

brown veal cubes in medium-high heated olive oil
Little splash of white wine
From the spice rack: Dried oregano, ground black pepper and a pinch of sea salt
Mix everything in the Crock Pot, 6 hours on low and enjoy with a fresh loaf of bread
